Default Really considering selling the SS

Well I been thinking a lot about selling the car but I've always wanted a SS! First time I saw one, I told myself I was getting one. Some major issues I'm having now is I had to put my new home on hold due an ex buddy screwed me over on an agreement we had about a bike. I traded it in for something I wanted if I was going to be stuck making pymts on it. I had no choice but to go about -3k equity and now have a 10k loan for the new bike (not incl. credit card debt) Pymts are not an issue and my car bal after this months pymt is only 1600. I want to pay off my debt to get a house by this year and by me selling the car will help tremendously. I can start saving for a bigger down pymt and hopefully get a new car. I'm pretty sure it will take couple years 2-3 to pay it off if I keep but I want a house this year.

Would I be better parting the car or selling complete for around 8500 obo?

some of the things the car needs is a clutch swap, driver side seat is torn on the bottom area, good paint job. No other issues on the interior.. The dash and leather is perfect. No cracks or stains either.

it has been said that you can sleep in your car, but you can't drive your house.

I'm running koni's and the prokit... I'm neutral with this combo. Some bumpy roads it drives smooth and other's I feel it pretty nasty.

I don't need this car honestly.. I want to keep it but I rather have my own house. My credit scores were up in the 7s so only my debt balance is going to prevent me from getting another house due to this bike problem I got into. Scores probably went down some

Bike is staying since it will be my dd during spring/summer.

You mentioned the bike was staying because its your DD in the summer/spring....but why not get rid of it and just buy a less pricey one? It would really cut into that 10k I bet.

I'm cutting my credit card debt only. Besides the credit cards the bike is all I will owe. Lenders don't mind a bike loan that has a time frame when it should be paid off. Credit cards is my only issue so that's what I'm going to take care of.

I'll never have credit cards. Sell the car. You can always buy another.

Sucks to hear but I know how sticky some situations would get. I would try real hard not to get rid of the car unless you absolutely had to.

That sucks about the car man. I remember my friend flashlcd33 was going to take this car off your hands a little while back! Clean looking SS and shouldn't have any trouble at all selling for the right price. Good luck!!

Right now is a great time to buy a house. I would say sell the bike since its still fairly new. Keep your car. It seems that they are a little harder to find for a good price.
