Question Car Cover

I tried searching but came up with no results. My aunt bought me a car cover from wal-mart and i'm wondering if it will be okay for my car? I know of the good companies out there and will eventually get one but do I really need to? Thanks for any info.

As long as the fabric is soft and it doesn't have any hard plastic or metal pieces it will be fine.

Im sure some are more waterproof than others, but hey somethings better than nothing

I've seen a few car covers from walmart, they were cheap and just plastic inside. The plastic will rub dust and dirt that get under the cover into your paint. Other, more expensive covers like the SLP cover I bought has a soft clotch like lining on the inside of the cover thats easier on your paint. Not sure of the quality of yours but if its just the plastic I think if your car is inside a garage it should be fine. But if its outside, I would suggest a nicer cover with a soft inner lining IMO.
From the pic in your sig your car looks really nice, I'm sure you want to keep it that way.

I'll check it out today and see what kind of material it is and determine whether or not it goes back.

Like some others said as long as it is soft on the inside you should be fine. If you don't have one something is better than nothing. I got my tempoary one from Advanced Auto Parts. It was like 49.99 but has a life time warranty. Return twice. Once cause of teh hurricane, and the other time I tried to move the car with it one and got caught under the tires. oops. Nice and soft, and some what water proof

I have two Cover King Stormproof(tan) covers custom fitted for the T/A. Used for less then half the summer before the car went in storage. I'll sell one if you are interested. I really dont need two.

It is an awsome cover. Fits like a glove and its soft enough not to damage black paint.

If it's soft it should be fine, probably want to make sure it's strapped down tight to keep the wind from blowing it around and constantly rubbing on the paint though. Is it to keep off snow and ice or just rain and sun? Where in El Mundo are you located?

Just rain and sun. I have 3 different locations. Michigan,Texas ,and Louisiana. The car only goes to Michigan (hometown) for the Woodward DreamCruise,Louisiana I have lived there for 12 years but its getting old and i'm tired of hurricanes, Texas because I love San Antonio and that will be my permanent move.

^^Cool, Texas is a great [read the greatest] state.

The only car cover I have is one I got from Advance Auto 50% off but it's just to cover up my car in the garage during deployments to keep dust and the cat off my TA. I accidentally squashed him under the automatic garage door for about 15 minutes once and he pulled through that ordeal like a champ so I don't get too upset if he sits on the TA every once in a while.

I guess this is for outside? Just anchor that thing down so it doesn't blow away! The cover kings fit like a glove
