Default insurance

so what does everyone have for insurance? I just switched from regular insurance to a collector style of insurance. The benefits are if my car gets wrecked i will actually get what it is worth and not low book value. The disadvantage is i am only allowed 6k miles a year(not a problem as i average 1-2) and i am only supposed to drive to cruise ins, and car shows etc. What does everyone else use?

Just Regular American Family Full Coverage with a 500 duct. My agent was talking to me about switch to a specialty one and saving like 20 bucks a month but for me to do anything track/show wise I need to drive at least 100 miles
Plus I only pay 350 ever 6 for it so its not that bad to begin with

yeah but if you wreck it what do they pay out? I had erie insurance and was only paying like 800 for the year, but if i wrecked the car they would only pay out low book even though the car is worth way more. The new ins i have is american modern ins, they pay out 15.5k if i wreck it.

With the year of my car he told me I would need to have it appraised and my car isnt in that good of condition so I doubt it would be worth it at all I honestly dont know how much I would get out of it , Id assume 4-5k buy back and part it out

Actually its not in that bad of condition
im having the front bumper and hood repainted
and I just need a glove box latch that broke when it was cold out,

I have farmers insurance company, and i pay $300 a year for fire and theft. When ever I take the car out I call them and put the car on full coverage. They pro rate me for the days its out, they take the cost of a year of full coverage and divide it by 365 and it comes out to be about $2.30 a day to drive the car. So they just send me a bill at the end of the month if I took the car out.

I'm paying 2400 a year with nationwide, with a 250 deductible on my parents plan. Ohh yeah, and im 19 years old with a 2000 M6 WS6 . sucks, but they seem to have great coverage. I also have a little bit of a driving record....lol

Tuck, You better ask your agent or the underwriter ( if you went direct ) to put it in writing that they will pay you $15,500 for your car if it is totaled. Most policies that I have read with an agreed value endorsement will not pay you the limit that is listed on the policy. I have been in insurance for over 20 years and agreed value is a misunderstood term by most people. There will be some language in the policy that states they will not pay over market value for your car.

I know I paid over 200 a month when I was under 25. Of course the car itself was worth over 20K at that time...

USAA here. Full coverage, 500 deductable, runs me about 40 bucks a month or about 240 for six months for the Trans Am
