honestly I was expecting your car to be worse, as were a lot more ppl. Glad you made it out with out getting hurt. luckily that can be fixed fairly easy. obviously all those years driving helped somehow. most drivers wouldn't be able to keep their mind focused and definitely wouldn't know how to steer their car out of a mess like that. you did very good in keeping you and your car from a lot worse of a disaster than what it could have been.

That is insanely lucky. It sucks when things like this happen, but I'm glad that you all post about it when it does because it helps to keep me from trying it.

sorry to see that, but your still living so thats all that matters. i had an accident involving me racing doing a 110 around corner. spun out, make a long story short my car only got a few scratches on it because a muddy field saved me and i won the race. I still race today though, just not around corners! **** happens man thats life..

I know, I really didn't like the wing either. I told him it prob would not be as bad if the stock wing was gone. I just got a little up tight because he is the guy that got me into cars when I was younger, and I would not love and own a Trans Am today if it was not for him and that purple beast. By the way, he was racing a 5.0 Mustang and the car clipped him (He still would have won)

OP good job at keeping the car in one piece. I am sure it was your driving skill that helped minimize the damage to the car. I have been in a couple situations like that, one of them was on my 07 R1 I was going 179mph

I clicked on this post to expect a totaled car, and maybe injuries. but I am glad you are ok, and the damage is minimal, you sir are a lucky individual.

dont mean to hijack but this reminded me about a story a month ago.

My friend was not so lucky, over winter break he was doing 90mph in his 03-04 Cobra lost control and hit a concrete embankment, was killed immediately and his passenger was hospitalized, both were wearing seat belts.

anything can happen on the road, just be careful.

spinning around and driving backwards... ****, nobody would really know what to do then. Maybe look into stunt driving? Glad you're alright, car looks fine too. I know you did better than I would have.

Are you going to fix the car yourself or turn it into your insurance company? Glad you are ok.

I'm not sure if I'm going to fix it myself, get another body, or just beat it straight and run it.
I don't have insurance for my car, just whatever protects anyone I get in an accident with.

Thanks for the kind words from everyone.
