i know its a general question, but anyone on here have any experience with this swap? any pointers or things i might not catch right away that i might need?

I'm doing this swap to a 93 right now!.. one company is needed and they are awesome so far. HinsonSuperCars.com
The service is great i ordered my swap kit about a week ago now. It takes 2-5 weeks for everything and from what i understand asking around in alot of rx7 forums was that hinsonsupercars swap > Grannyspeed swap
What year 7 are you doing it to?

lol, I was trying to imagine an LS9 in an RX7. I had to grab some tissues for the monitor...
Oh, and I'd post this up in the conversions section for some more responses.

i almost didnt respond when i saw the ls9 swap in ... i've done three ls1 fd swaps i'm out of kansas city, go to school at pittsburg state. you will soon realize the little things add up... are you wanting to run ac/ ps etc. there is alot of things you have to take into consideration before doing this swap... are you doing the wiring yourself...its actually fairly simple read all over v8rx7forum.com it will give you everything you need to know.
great swap i get 30 mpg if i stay out of it ..lol ususally don't, i put down 365 on mild cam and ran low 12's all day long thats on street tires with shitty 60 foots. i've ran plenty of 11 sec cars and had no trouble staying right beside them. and a rare car to say the least.
any further indepth questions you may have left me know ... i'll be happy to answer what i can for the most part.

just some of the things you'll need to do are as follows this is to give you the idea that its not just subframe motor tranny.
fuel system requires removal of return its a one way line
subframe
master cylinder most likely the willwood kit if running t-56
fans need to be adjusted
a dakota digital for adjusting speedo corrections
most of your harness stays intact execpt all under passenger dash
run turn and switch power
Granny's as a full conversion but i found many errors in it
upgrade fuel pump most likely
modified drive shaft and torque arm
radiator cheapy old corvette , highend hinsons kit
a/c requires modified lines and p/s most commonly people use coversion block (i have neither in my car) **** it use the sunroof lol
rear end will hold good till about low 11 sec passes however you will have huge wheel hop without modified suspension.
thats just some things to take into consideration
