Well my dad won't sell me his LS2. He said, he had another project in mind for it, but he also said he would give it to me if i made a 4.0 gpa this term.. well that ain't going to happen. So i'm starting from the ground up. My budget is very wide, wide enough i could start with an aftermarket block such as LSX, Warhawk, or even order the RHS block. Although i don't really want/need to as this won't be a race car and i don't plan on exceeding 600 at the wheels. I'm just planning on 550 at the crank. Also buying a turnkey/crate motor is out of the question. I'm sure they can put it together better than me but there would be no pride on first start up. So what would be some good options. As of right now i'm leaning towards starting with a 402 or something around that.
