MAC midlengths?
How is the ground clearance with these? I am trying to decide what of headers I want to go with. I had pacesetter headers on my old 95 lt1 z28 and they were fine. I want to keep this car mild and I may lower it a little bit so I was looking at midlength headers. Does anyone have pictures of these installed?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Do any aftermarket companies make an ORY for stock manifolds? Not sure if I would go that route but it would be a cheap and easy option. I just haven't decided if I want to do LT's again. I definitely don't look forward to the install.
I found some Y pipe options. Would you recommend the SLP one pr is the Borla one worth an extra 100$.

Gas mileage is good also. This is my DD and I don't have any crazy plans for it. In the future I might but I will have to have a DD first. For now I will do basic bolt on mods. Like a lid, ORY, catback, underdrive pulley and ported TB.
I am going to have it tuned by a local guy as well.

MACs are a great street header. I picked up 18rwhp through the factory cats welded in the MAC Y-pipe (MAC cats are junk). The ground clearance is very good and the install was super-easy. I eventually replaced them with Hooker LTs when I went heads/cam, but would buy another set, preferable lightly used, for a street car.

MACs are OK.
I ran them for awhile..I made 360 RWHP with a stock longblock (01 LS6 cam) & an LS6 intake.
Unfortunatly,I can't seem to even give them away..They're just sitting in my garage collecting dust.

check the "dyno" section. there are lots of guys making power with MAC mid lengths. on a 450rwhp H/C/I car the difference between MAC mid lengths and high quality long tubes is about 18rwhp or so from what i can find.

i've got mac's on my lowered ta, they came on mine otherwise i prolly would have went with LT's.
They're definetely not junk and the only clearance issues i have with is on tall speed bumps.
