Not sure why some people have seen the bolt-ins come loose. My only guess is that you didn't tighten them enough. Went 4 years with these things on my WS6 and 4 more on my '98 Z, never once came loose. But I really crank down hard on those bolts.

I have a set of UMI's ready to go on my car. FWIW there is not that much difference in the price of the UMI bolt in and weld in ones. I would just get the bolt ins and have them welded later.

I bought my car with them on 3 yrs ago. Never had to tighten em. look nice too
oh and for drag racing it may save you a rear quarter panel crease. Its not a proven theory but makes sense

For anyone who reads this post looking for advice about buying the SLP SFCs; you can purchase the weld in one's for $100 cheaper, then buy the bolt kit that SLP sells separately for like around $35 or so, paint, powder coat, etc the SFCs and you're ready to bolt them in! saves you around $50-60 for the same awesome benefits.
