Not sure why some people have seen the bolt-ins come loose. My only guess is that you didn't tighten them enough. Went 4 years with these things on my WS6 and 4 more on my '98 Z, never once came loose. But I really crank down hard on those bolts.

it seems like alot of people in this thread use their sfc's for cornering, but what are the benefit when it comes to drag racing

it helps transfer the weight to the rear wheels. There is no flexing and twisting in the car anymore. Straight transfer of weight. They are a nice product and do stiffen the car up a great amount. Well worth the money if you buy them

I have a set of UMI's ready to go on my car. FWIW there is not that much difference in the price of the UMI bolt in and weld in ones. I would just get the bolt ins and have them welded later.

I bought my car with them on 3 yrs ago. Never had to tighten em. look nice too

oh and for drag racing it may save you a rear quarter panel crease. Its not a proven theory but makes sense

It isn't a problem of the bolts coming loose, its the car twisting the SFCs, which in turn twists the bolts, which in turn elongates the holes over time.

Did you have to call SLP for the bolt kit? I just picked up a set of used SFCs and they're missing the bolts.

that was my same thought. Weld in = better.

However, bolt in now and weld in later works I guess

If you can't find them on SLPs website, than yea you're gonna have to call them and order them. Just tell them that you stripped a couple of the bolt's threads or something.
