Default Is it possible?

This may be a dumb question, so im willing to accept the consquences. Is it possible for someone to switch from 4th to 5th, but mistakenly allow the shifter to shift into reverse? Will it even go in? Or will you grind?

It will not go. There is a stop of some sort. You have to be completely stopped or it will not go in.

Yeah no worries, just don't get some crazy redneck to rebuild it one of these days and you will be fine.
