Default dmh cutout died? why me? lol

Every time I drive the car something small goes wrong. Im hoping they will replace it if it is indeed the motor but its the fact of having to take it off nd mail it out blah blah. I've only had it for a little over a year now to, come to think of it which is odd. Just took the car out today for a drive since its nice out, was working fine, then came home went in the house and went out for another drive and bam, the thing wont open. Amazing how random **** happens!

It is very annoying when things like that happen...like one day my cruise control didn't work - then the next I had a screw in the tire - then my blinker light didn't work - I don't really mind working on my car though cause I love it

I guess its better when its small stuff instead of big stuff. Anyone of us would rather have these kind of problems then engine problems haha

Wow I'm a bit shocked to hear that happened. DMH is one of the best on the market. I love my E cutout. **** does happen though. Good luck getting everything resolved.

mine went out it turned out the wire had been pinched by the seat under the carpet, causing it to ground and pop the fuse every time i hit the switch. check your electrical before you send it back.

Checked all my wires, I did it myself so I know it was fine and everything is sturdy and stable. I thought about checking under the carpet but since nothing has been moved and ive had it like this for over a year with no changes I doubt anything suddenly got pinched in the back seat. I took off the cutout already anyways, ill see what dmh says on monday and hopefully Ill have a new one or this one fixed by the following week.

You should see if you can open it with a jumper wire since it is off the car know.

Yea I haven't had any problems until now, just like blah on me ahah. But I went with dmh over qtp because of the warranty, so as long as they can fix it or replace it its no big deal, takes 5minutes to jack the car up and take it off or put it on anyways.

Well mine isnt that old, maybe a year but I think im just a bad luck one, the qtp cutouts die often though but im the first to hear of a dmh dieing haha. Had a window motor go, then a cutout blahh. All simple easy fixes but its just funny when **** keeps happening left and right aha
