Not sure where to post this, but wanted to give a big thanks to Thunder Racing in Baton Rouge, LA. They always have time to answer my questions, and have never steered me wrong, through 2 different F-Bodies.
I just finiished a PINKS All Out weekend. I certainly didn't win, but I ran consistent 11.6's and won all my qualifying races. I consider this a success, given the fact that just 3 weeks before PINKS, I was running 12.1's, barely coming out of the hole and my A4 was missing shifts. Thunder was nice enough to put in a new tranny at the last minute, and also recommended one a new converter for the a4. The converter turns out to be one of the strongest converters I've ever driven-- I picked up 2 mph in the 1/4!
If you need a partner in this hobby, I'd recommend Thunder Racing.
