Lsx 5.3l I'm trying to get the lingo down, I'm straight on most of the LS1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 9 engines. Where does the 5.3L iron or AL fall in? The motors that are fairly cheap from trucks, are they LS4? I tried looking and I couldn't get a name i can easliy search for to find more information on it.

Wikipedia for the win. Explains it all. For the most part nobody uses the 6.0 or 5.3 codes since there are a few with no real differences, just say 5.3, 6.0, etc....
