Yeah it was alright. Before I went to the track I took out the usual stuff spare, jack, back seat. It still had the front sway bar hooked up

I got it down to 3260 with me in it now

I still have to pull the air bags and rear bumper support/brace out of it. I'll be putting in a 6 point mild steel cage when I get back so it should be around the same weight

I was at 3380 without me in the car. Full tank of gas. I doubt a TA has more than 100-150 lbs extra.

no its the same as a camaro. thats the weight of a gto. our tires are wide and the steering wheel as a lot of force to want to straighten but our cars are pretty light for todays standards. a 350 or rx8 isnt any lighter.

Its probably due to the lazy decarbon shocks that come on these cars, it really makes them feel sloppy.
OP look at the curbweights for fbodies that's the "ready to drive" weight.
Look through the articles on this site:

^^^^^ Very interesting thanks for the link.. I had no idea the Pontiac was that much heavier than a Z-28. I can only imagine what a pig my T/A is.... The times are interesting too but I think that is just individual motor differences mostly....
