Default Center console
have a 96 trans am looking at the newer console out of a 97 formula will it fit in the 96

yes it will fit. I sold my old console to a 96 bird owner.

they will fit. 97-99 were still the dark gray/graphite consoles. 00-02 are the ebony/black ones. hope this helps.
