heads and cam? I have a 1998 Trans Am and am about to buy heads and cam. What is the best combination for the money to have a mean lope with a reasonable power range for a car thats still streetable? Other mods are ls6 intake, longtubes with offroad y, slp loudmouth, underdrive pulley and slp mass air.

id go with texas speeds 2.5 heads n cam package its like 1700 i believe and u can choose the lope and everything im going with that setup in the near future from what ive heard u should be at are over 400 rwhp and the lopes u can choose go from 111 to 117 i believe just look them up there a sponser on here.

for street i know im gonna go with a 112 lsa(lope) also look thm up on youtube people have the packages on there and u can chose your lope u want betterby hearing how peoples sound

yes i know im gonna go with the 228 cam and a 112 lsa. i mean u can get better heads and a better cam if u wanted but your gonna pay more for just the heads and then u gotta mesh it together with the right cam. the tsp packages just take out the guess work for u and at 1609$ for the 2.5 5.3L package its a steal.
