i dont use my traction control ever, its become habbit to get in the car and turn it off. as long as your driving you should in the rain your not going to be spinning all over the place. there's only one stop light on a large hill that it's a little tough to get traction on in heavy rain. but if you want the tires to spin..... they'll spin

They'll get loose on wet roads easy if ya dont watch it usin cruise control. Best advice: dont use cruise control on wet or slick roads, other than that they're not so bad just baby em on bad days.

My car doesn't have the option for traction control at all, so technically its off all the time. Its fine, like its been said it'll spin em if you want to, but if you drive normally and have good rain tires you should be just fine.

I have no TCS and have no issue driving in SNOW, yes snow. It takes just a little bit of control of the right foot, but anyone can figure it out. Usually off idle won't cause any spin, but if you want it to spin, its at your control.

Drive with some common sense and you'll be fine. My H/C car doesn't have TC. Occasionally it will turn the tires over once or twice if I'm first in line at a red light. That white line is slippery. My clutch is very on/off though. If I had a clutch that didn't mind being slipped it would never spin.

F*CK TRACTION CONTROLL!!!!!!!!!!!
If I could have it my way my car wouldn't have it. Unless you try to spin, or are driving in ridiculus conditions (snow, mud, gravel, you won't spin just cause.

tc systum
i had a 1999 camaro ss m6 with tcs systum on it it worked ok i gues if the car started to spin it would back off then roll back on it lost me a few races because i forgot to shut it off and when i hit 2nd the car boged out for a second never the less the car got totaled in the rain with the systum on so its not fail safe you can still spin the car with it on i now owna 2001 camaro ss m6 with out tcs and like it better the only down about it waswhen i did my 12 bolt swap i was told that i could not use a 9 ince witch i had opted for because it did not have the tcs option witch suppsedly limited my rear end choices to a 12 bolt or stock. but i loved both cars and if you do get the non tcs car you arnt missing anything special

Dude, the traction control on these old cars is so primitive, it's almost like as soon as the wheels slip, the engine totally shuts down. On an old car like this, traction control isn't that great to have. On a new car where you can't even tell it turns on, go for it!
