Default What do these typically sell for?

I was at Hooters today eatin lunch. One of the girls there has a silver 02 firebird, V6 with a 5 speed & cloth seats. It has a WS6 hood, 50,000 miles. She knows I have an SS so the subject always comes up " wish I had a V8" lol. Anyway, she has her car up for sale, its in very clean condition & shes asking $9000 for it. That sounds pretty high to me, but she says, I wont go any lower than $8k (me LMAO about that). She's also been looking into getting the LS1/M6 swap done, she found a motor & trans. I told her, she would be better off selling her car & just buying a WS6. It was funny listening to her, a few people that were interested in the car couldnt drive a stick, lol. Then I told her if it was V8 auto, everyone would be like, damn wish it was a stick, lol.

I would imagine that car is worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $5-6K.

7 years old with $50,000 miles... and a V6.... Car doesn't have alot of market demand.

If she works at Hooters, she'll probably get it sold.

Yeah $9k even $8k is wayyyyyy too high. Tell her she may even be able to cut a deal by trading it into a dealer that has an LS1 car.

LMFAO! that is ridiculously high for a v6....leather would have helped a tad bit..better off to trade it in or get an ls1 outright, the swap would prob. cost more than the car is worth.I wouldn't pay more than 5500 for that car and thats if its Spotless. what else comes with it for the $8000+ asking price *assuming she's hot with a nice "intellect" since she works at hooters
