Default The best wife

Well for the last couple of months, I have had 10 bolt problems. For the most part my DD WS6 has been sitting and I have to drive my bike. No big deal I love to ride but hurricane seasons around the corner and its gonna rain alot here and that makes it no fun. I was talking to my wife trying to figure out what to do. She came up with the best Idea. I couldnt belive it. We are going to get me a cheap beater. Already found that, its a 1998 malibu with a 120k for under $1000 in really good shape. After she said to find a cheap car, that I should not waste any more money on my car and that since its my other baby it needs to be done right, and that I need to spend the $4,000 on the full Midwest Chassis fabbed 9" and have it built to the hilt so we never have to deal with the stupid 10bolt!

TRUE Story Im still in shock
So I'll get the beater soon and we are saving up for the rear right now. I think im going to post up with pics and do a front yard/driveway install with good pics.

If anyone has the 9" from midwestchassis let me know how you like it on the street. and pros/cons with this and moser 9"

I don't think you can even compare it with the Moser.

lol no kidding I thought I was gonna get kicked in the *****! After we decided to fix the rear I told her since the trans is done thanks to sixspeedinc, were gonna have to build up the motor to get rid of that little oil leak that showed up. She didnt care that fixing the oil leak meant it had to be pulled to be changed out to a 400+ cid ls . She knows cars, so im not pullin the wool over eyes. She said pontiac is done, so keep it and make it badass. As long as she rides when we cruise. Good deal to me.

That's cool. My wife bought me a intercooled turbo kit for my gp gt. $4500 with a few other things. She also helps install things on my cars! It's nice to have a good wife isn't it?!!

Haha nope 2 brothers sorry

Well the rear end is for sure. I just hope getting the rest of the car stuff goes this smooth. Im not sure how long it will take. As soon as I get it the pics of that beautiful powder coated 9" I'll ***** the pictures of the car and all the work were doing.

Thanks guys and if anyone else has alot of street time with the midwest 9 let me know what you think of it. Im not stuck on it so if there is something else you think is good please run it by me. $4000 is alot for us to throw out so I want it to spent well on a rear end that will be bullet proof.

Thats funny my wife has two husbands lol she got me and the ws6. Along with my best friend and his LS truck. My best friend aka her seccond husband moved in the apartment downstairs earlier this month. So her car needs to go so it can be replaced with a trailblazer, along with his truck, my car, and our bikes the neighbors are going to hate us. It all works out. I just have to figure out how to keep her this way about the car. This is one way to keep a happy husband at home.

My GF tossed the idea around of getting a Vert mustang or a new vert beetle. She has always wanted a vert beetle (has a coupe now). She told me that she couldn't see herself getting a mustang until I got one though. She said it would be a tease and she couldnt' do that to me. She said she'll get one after I have one parked in my garage.

There are true angelic women out there....just hard to find. I count my blessings with her every day.
