Default Anyone direct me to a thread on LS1 cam specs

I can't find a threat I once saw on the different stock LS1 cam Specs. Anyone direct me there? I want to compare a couple I have to some for sale. Thanks, for the help.

Thanks for the link. I looked at that one but it doesnt have what I'm looking for. I have a 2000 Vette cam, and 06 GTO cam and want to see which is the better of the two. I think probably the GTO cam. Also want to compare those two to others members are selling. Only want to be in this engine once this year. Also do the cams have stock GM numbers stamped on them to identify them. I havent gotten either one out yet to look.

if you only want to be in the engine once this year, get an aftermarket cam. stock cams are not worth the effort to put in.

They are so comparable that you won't know a difference between them. Technically he LS1 cam is a little bigger duration and the GTO's LS2 cam has .004 more lift, that's how close they are. The f-body cam in the link and your vette cam aren't going to be any different from each other. None of these cams offer anything that the others don't, no reaosn to swap between stock cams.

Great, thanks for the info on the cams. I'm only in this engine because a rod is hanging out. Guess I'll go with a mild aftermarket cam or the GTO cam in the non-blown up LS1. One more thing, are head bolts on LS1's re-useable or a one time thing. Also do they get torqued or indexed with that degree tool? Going to dig up all the torque specs, but wondering if I need to order some head bolts now.

Stock GTO specs = weak. 200/203 .500/.500

Stock head bolts are not reusable and are Tq to yield byt degree, not just torqued down.
