shopping for another f-body, should i stay away from 98'?

So if the 98 (which I have; 98 T/A vert) is so difficult to home tume, do most go with a stand alone EMS? What about tuning the 98 ECU for speed density, is this an issue?

Talking with an LS1 tuner in the twin cities he said that he's heard of 98 PCMs "freezing up" or something like that when they get reflashed for a tune. Anyone else heard of this?

Funny thing.... It just happened to me. My VCM is now dead... D-E-*******-D.

I've heard of isolated cases of crazy stuff happening during a reflash on any year PCM. Nothing limited to just '98s though.

got a 98 had a 2000 actualy like my 98 more...
