DD mine. Wish I had a beater or a bike though. I've done the whole beater and bike thing in the past and kinda prefer it. Saved money on mods that way because everytime I got back into the V8 car, it felt fast again.

My main complaint about DDing an Fbody is the rough ride on crappy roads and getting used to the power which makes the car feel slow. The dings and scratches also **** me off, but no since in getting it painted until I start DDing something else.

There is also those days when you wanna be left alone and some ricer/stang/whatever tries to act like a bad *** in traffic (and not on the open road ) just because they see you driving an fbody.

My car's a DD for the moment, it has just over 95K miles on it. It'll have over 100K miles on it here soon if i end up working at the new job i applied for. Ill have to be traveling 70+ miles back & forth everyday. I dont like it but then again. I have plans to swap a Forged 347 or LS2 in it sometime when money allows, so not really a big deal to me lol

I will get another car to DD if i end up with this job, ill make enough to afford another car payment. So i think ill end up with a Trailblazer SS for a DD. I do want something bigger, but not full truck size. Call me crazy, but theres times i do get tired of being in the LE because of the size. So i think the TBSS will make up for it, maybe a few bolt ons on it and ill be happy but from time to time. Ill be in the car, i cant just let it sit there lol

I dd mine rain, snow, and it sees the track at least once a week if not twice. Its my only vehicle right now but if it breaks I just fix it. I have a spare engine, anything else I can take care of.

I DD my '02 Z. The '98 Z keeps the '71 Nova company in the garage.

4th gens make great DDs, in all weather (with the proper tires and extra weight for snow), unless you need lots of storage space or like to haul around more than one passenger.

i have a 1996 toyota camry as my DD. before that i had a 1999 nissan frontier 4wd. before that i had a 1979 suburban. its nice to drive the SS on only sunny days and not having to worrry about parking lot dings and miles with a daily driver.

I DD my Z-71 but have still managed 40k on the TA in the last 2 1/2 years. Lotsa road trips to the beach and concerts.... Thinking about selling the the truck and getting back on a GSX-R again.... In that case the T/A will see more miles in winter.....

I DD my 06 Grand Prix GXP. Bone Stock, but it moves well and its not too big of a step down in power from the SS. Its more comfortable on my 40 mile each way commute and good enough on gas on the highway to not complain. I get the SS out as often as possible, but my garage is blocked by an abundance of cars (my family has 6 cars at the house, with a driveway built for about 4) so sometimes its more of a PITA to move 3 just to get it out of the garage. Im not really trying to keep mileage off of the SS, i'm sure i'll drive it more when i move out next month and have my own garage for it!!

I have a work truck, so I don't drive my TA every day, but the TA is the only car I own. So I guess it is my daily driver, that isn't driven daily. But it sees rain, sleet, and snow.

Yeesh, guys. All these complaints about ride harshness, this, and that....

I'm almost 57 years old, I've had three 4th gens (a '94, '98, and my current Y2K), all Z28s, all manual trannies. Every one of them my daily driver. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I knew what I was getting when I got the first one. A car that's loud, has squeaks and rattles (eventually), rides a tad harsh, but also handles well, is oblivious to the wind drafts from 18-wheelers either when I pass them or vice versa, hauls azz, and is just a blast to drive. I've never gotten tired of driving it, a manual 6-speed, even in near-parking-lot conditions on the expressways, and I usually get to point B with a ****-eating grin.

Now that my Z's been transformed with the LS2 powerplant and headers and stuff, it's even MORE fun. I've had almost 267,000 miles on this current car, and I have no intention of even getting the 5th gen Camaro, since this one's more than fast enough (probably faster than the SS, or will be shortly) and I intend to drive at least another 250,000 miles in this car as my daily driver.

My old 87, 94 & 99 were all DD's. My 02 was until I paid her off and bought an 05 Explorer for the DD duty. It now has 82k and gets driven maybe once a week when the weather is nice.
One thing that is cool about it not being a DD is once you get in, crank the key and get going, you are reminded of just how strong a higher mile lightly bolt-on LS1can feel!

I got a 95 Corvette at a steal, 142000 miles, I use it for a dd, my ta has 99200 miles and I am putting off seeing 100000 on it. Until then the vette might hit 200000.
