The GTO is a beautiful car. 73K miles on an LS1 is nothing in my opinion. My buddy's 98 Camaro went 150K without a problem by the time he sold it. He bought it with 65K miles, never changed the oil once, and beat the crap out of it. I think you'll be ok. Where do you live? Not a snow friendly car obviously.

My 04 has 50K on it,stock to avoid headaches. It's been a great car on long trips 27 mpg highway, mixed normal drive average 21.Price looks ok I would low ball them these cars are tough to sell. That a look over on ls1gto.com search for rear end noise many have this problem. If not already done it will need new bushings.Good luck

The only thing they can charge excessively on is a DOC fee. This is a fee to prepare the title work, and also to pay their drivers for going to the title office, etc. $50-100 is fair I would say, but when they are charging $200-300 it is rape.
Tax is tax. A dealer makes no profit on tax of course, they just HAVE to charge it the same as Wal-Mart or anywhere else. Just the way it is.
