Subject says it all.
Sold the LS1 and now weep openly every time I see one drive by.![Sad](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_sad.gif)
I'm guessing at least some people around here sold an F-body, then bought another one later to make the pain go away.

Good stuff all round!
How did you total the SS, Martin? I got side-swiped by a tree once and that was emotionally crippling. I may as well just have crapped my pants, it wouldn't have made me feel any worse.

I sold my full suspension 95 T/A hard top (no tees) in 2002, and it hurt like hell. I saw some guy and his kid gassing it up one day and of course my gf pointed out "hey isn't that your old car"? Hurt like hell. I bought the 95 car in 2000 with only 26,000km (what's that about 15,000miles) with a mostly stock setup except suspension, tint, and purple ground effect lights (show car quality) to match the plum colored paint. Very tasteful actually. I didn't even know it had the lights on it untill months later when I wondered what the switch was for? I missed the car from 2002 until July 08 when I bought the Hawk! Now I'm happy again, the only thing is I went from an M6 to an A4. Not as disappointing as I first thought it would be mind you. Now I can plan for a heads/cam/stalled auto that I know would rip my old T/A a new one
I whined for years until I got a new one, everytime I saw one I almost cried. So finally my new gf agreed to let me go and pick up this one.
The new Firehawk had 88,000km (55,000miles or so) on it when I got it and was bone stock (except the SLP mods, dual dual exhaust, panhard, hood, rims, and bumper spacers etc) and was owned by a doctor. It looked like hell (underkept in the detailing department but very well maintained). It was a gem in the rough for sure. Me and the little lady brought it right up to near mint (except for some small pressure cracking on the rear bumper which I've managed to fix up pretty good) and now it's a prowler on the night streets of the city rumbling it's exhaust note with conviction and poise. I love how as I drive down the street I somehow, much like the pied piper, collect a following of ricers following me around reving their fart cans.
Don't ever ever ever sell your fbody unless you are moving up to a Corvette, termi, or are going to be buying another Fbody VERY soon. These LS1 cars grow on you and I swear I feel like you and your car become one. Each car is slightly different and each has their own quirks, much like the folks who drive them. I feel your pain and trust me, you'll be back some day. I tried some other rides but nothing can put me back in my seat so far like this bad boy. Also nothing, NOTHING turns heads like this car now that it's a Firehawk and Pontiac has went down. I get way more attention then the Vettes since there are so many more of them around this area. Have fun with the MS3 but lest we forget the fbody. It continues to live within you lol.

Ahhhhh, the dark side can be tempting Striker, just remember; the eaton whine won't necessarily replace the NA feeling and the gaping/painful hole in your heart from turning your back on the General. Lol jk. Good luck either way man, both very nice cars with tons of potential.

I've got 4 of the LS1 F bodies and I love them, each one is unique, and I definitly get alot of thumbs up and questions about them. Look at how many vettes you see everyday and how many LS1 F bodies... Dont get me wrong I like the vette but nothing is like the Camaro and Firebirds and they are getting more rare each day.
