I believe I am going to be in attendance to watch, but my Camaro will not be doing any runs. I have never been out there but I am kind of excited to see it.

What is the best day/time to go? I am visiting a friend in Salt Lake and we are going to come out. Any advice or tips we should know before we drive out there? Thanks!

well... if you are just driving out for the day then you have gotten past half the battle. Hotel rooms for the first weekend sell out a year in advance!

I believe they are starting tech on Thursday and then the driver's meeting Saturday morning... and racing starts after that. I would suggest coming out early in the week... when you can still see all the cars. A lot of people trash their rides early and head out...

Hope that helps.

LS based freakazoid (engine classes can get weird with land speed racing)...

ERL Superdeck aluminum 5.3 block stuffed with some billet things that spin around and go up and down, full Jesel valvetrain on a little set of All Pro LSW heads CNC'd by Richard at WCCH, all topped off with a 4500 series carb from Pro Systems.

You know... just your basic LS1 with some bolt ons ;-)

You should check out the Big White Dyno if you get a chance!!!

LMAO......the typical LSx build on here......See ya at Maxton.....as a spectator....no cage/harness here.

It would be great to make some top end runs with no SHP worries
