I did tie rod ends and upper ball joints yesterday and it wasn't too bad except for drilling out the damn top rivets. It wasn't really all that bad. Until I got to the ******* lowers. I rented 3 different presses and they wouldn't fit on top of the ball joint shaft, so I had to take off the entire front assembly (hub and all) just to get the ******* adapter on it. And then to top it off, the ******* thing wouldn't seat all the way on top of the shaft so that I could slide the press on it to get them off. I rented a different one today and if that doesn't work, I gotta take the whole god damn arm off and take it to my buddy to get them pressed out.... sorry for the rant, but **** my life right now.
