If they charge by the letter like in AL, you should be able to get as many as you want since they make more money off of you. May get a custom plate when I get a car worth one next year....probably a Vette.

You can have 7, but only 6 characters and the texas symbol, so far.
I think government can have whatever they want, but if you try to order anything more than 6, it rejects it.
