Default Wheel hop. How to fix?

I was at a car show on sunday. When the show was over, every one did a burn out as they left. So I did one and got alot of wheel hop. I let off as fast as I could. How or what could I do to stop this wheel hop? Would lowering the car help? Cause I'll be lowereing it soon.

No, lowering it alone will not help. Lowering will just change your suspension geometry for the worse in combating wheel hop (If done without LCA relocation brackets).

You need to call up UMI, BMR or one of our other suspension sponsors and have them hook you up with a set of LCA's and LCA relocation brackets if you choose to lower it. That's a good first step to get your wheel hop under control.

wheel hop = death to the 10 bolt. Be careful. Try some relo brackets.

LCAs and some drag bags would be a good start.

I am a fan of LCA's and a new torque arm. That should cure your problems. A sticky tire helps also.

Lowering will make it worse been there.

But if you do make sure you use relocation brackets. Also get LCA's and a panhard bar.

Worn out shocks will make it worse. You will need new shocks when you lower anyway.

I have no LCA relo brackets AND lowered with no wheelhop. I have really good shocks though.

I put on some LCA's and a panhard bar and it stiffened the rear end up nicely. And it is lowered, crappy stock shocks and no relocation brackets.

I have BMR LCAs and I've really only gotten some wheel hop once so that is where I would start.

+1

This fixed my wheel hop.

Edit: I've got the relocation brackets for the LCA's also.
