I love ignorant people... Ebay Ad from hell So i message this guy regarding his http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...AQ:MOTORS:1123"firehawk" from ebay, telling him he might want to correct the title since that car isnt a 97 unless they updated the nose, and this is how the helpful conversation ended up
ME: Unless youhave replaced the entire front clip its not a 97 its a 1998+. #2 its not a firehawk, wrong wheels and hood.
HIM: it is a 97 it says it on the title. And it is a fire hawk run the vin before you talk about something you know nothing about. The fire hawk was always a head of its time. The 98 fire hawk has the ram air hood and came with tuch screen navigation and onstar. This i know cause i work for GM as a mechanic and have a car fax report in my hand. Clean title and title as well says fire hawk. Learn the history!!!
ME: History? i owned 6 of these! No firebird camaro ever came with navigation OR onstar. That body style you have pictured is from a 98+ firebird. Why dont you google 1997 Firehawk and take a peek. And firehawks arent determined by vin number. They have a special SLP door sticker denoting what additions SLP added. Title for all firebirds states Firebird/Trans Am/ firehawk since its the same friggin Chassis/Body style. Congradulations on your GM job. Hope you never work on my Bird.

The guy is a 100% scammer. He does not have the car, and he did not take any of those pictures. So you guys sending him messages with 100% correct information will only improve his knowledge on how to screw someone over.

I just did 'Report Item'. The guy just registered in July with no previous sales or feedback. That car is clearly a normal Trans Am, end of story. The thing that did it for me was Joshu's post...Florida plates on a CT car. Also if you check out the Payment option, it says Cashier's Check or Cash(in person), only.

should anyone hear fallout from a buyer of this car or should he manage to find his way onto this site to bitch, please let me know i have a few resources at my disposal. :-D Oh and i missed that heated seats option...classic!

His sale was removed by Ebay.
Here was his response to me:
"it is a 97 cause thats what the title says and numbers match i am not a dumb ***. Maybe it had a converson kit put on i don't know and don't care. Please do not waste my time telling me stupid s%^&."
