RPO codes from VIN?

RPO codes from VIN? Can I get the RPO codes from running the VIN or can anybody do this for me?
Im looking at a 98 SGM T/A, and the RPO codes arent on the door anymore it makes me think its a repaint or accident but clean title dont wanna spend 30 on carfax lol. I really wanna know if its a true SGM and what rear end it has in it.
VIN is 2G2FV22G9W2207922

Vin doesn't give that type of info.

You might be able to call a dealer and ask but I doubt they will help. I don't think SLP does that type of stuff anymore.
