98 - 02 whats the diff? I've been looking at buying a 2000 to 2002 ss for awile now. Today i found a low milage 98 thats seems to have everything i want. just want to know what if any of the diff. is between 98,99,00,01,02. ive herd the 01 and 02's have more hp do to a better intake and heads? is this true, or anything else i should know?

im old school so i have paper article at home i could fax you if you pm me a fax#. the 98's have a different head bolt pattern. both 98 & 99 have the ls1 intake the 01-02 have ls6 intake stock. not sure about 2000. 98-99 do have a slightly bigger cam. the 01-02 have better exhaust manifolds, bigger injectors (28 vs 26). the egr changed. just my 2 cents.
