First off I have been running my cutout open on my SS for 2+ years now, and been pulled over alot, and never had a cop say anything about the exhaust except how good the car sounded. Secondly USARMYZ28 I love your sig, i've been counseled numerous times by my chain of command regarding my driving, and it seems like they are all Ford guys. I usually bag on them and sign my counseling form too.

I know a couple people here in the N.O. area that have gotten pulled over for there exhaust, a few have gotten tickets.

What criteria are they using when issuing tickets? Decibel meter, or cop-"because I say it is too loud",etc.?

Is there a decibel limit or threshold for how loud it can be?

I'm working on a true dual setup for my Camaro with cutouts and I plan on leaving them open.
