It all depends on what you want it to do.

Ask Patrick G or Pred Z to custom spec you a cam. Pat G is using EPS lobes on a lot of his grinds and they are really putting out impressive numbers, not just peak but under the curve also.

I would put a MS3 in it with the PRC 660 Kit, and the Hardened Pushrods.

that 224/224 cam is kinda small even on a stock c.i. ls1. take advantage of having the 6.0L and put a bigger cam in it. maybe high 23x low 24x duration. and your definition of daily driveable may be different from someone else so also take that into consideration. right now i dd a 347 with a 236/239 600 611 on a 111lsa.

Depends on what you want your idle to be like. Either will be fine but if you are thinking about a off the shelf cam, the MS3 can be agood way to go. Are you a M6 or A4 also?

LSA stands for lobe seperation angle. The LSA is directly related to the valve overlap of a cam. Valve overlap is the amount of degrees that the intake valves and exhasut valves are open at the same time. Now this may sound bad at first but it really isnt in most situations. In naturally asperated motors when when both valves are open at the same time the exhaust valve helps create a vaccum and pull the air/fuel mixture into the combustion chamber, and now there is more air and fuel to ignite which equals more power. But when this concept is used in forced induction applications it isnt as effective and can even hut your perofrmance. The air/fuel mixture is already pressurized by the supercharger/turbo and doesnt need any help being pulled in the combustion chamber. If the exhaust valve is open too long while the intake valve is open part of the air/fuel mixture can pass right through the combustion chamber and never be ignited. Now the effects of the LSA, a tighter lsa (111 in your example) would cause a rougher idle, less low end torque, more high end power, increased valve overlap, and less intake manifold vaccum. Now all that being said I dont think you will have that much of a seat of the pants difference between the 111 and the 112 other than the rougher idle. If this is going to be your daily driver I would go with the 112.

if ur going to spend some good money on a cam. u might as well go ahead and get some LT's. its not that much more to spend and you will unleash a lot more power from whatever cam you choose. face it that sucker needs to breathe!

Listen to this guy. I would do LTs instead of a cam if you only have the money to do one of the two. Stock manifolds are going to choke a MS3 and it's not going to be as fast as you'd like.
