Default exhaust

i dont have an ls1 yet butsometime i plan to. i live in new york so i gotta get the car inspected and have to have catalytic converters. is there enough room for headers,cutouts, high flow cats, y pipe and rest of exuast?

What do you mean by enough room?, they make catted Y pipes for these cars to, do you mean physically room or like room as in room for inspection hypothetically?

^+1 there is no problem with putting a full exhaust on these cars and making it through inspections.

a friend of mine has a 2002 camaro and he bought long tube headers and a y pipe. he had a hard time making the y pipe fit to the existing borla catback think it called . Being from new york i have to have converters but i also want the car to be loud so physically i was wondering if there would be room for cutouts before the converters and still have enough space for the y pipe and rest of exhuast system. cuz like i said he had trouble making everything fit without converters
