Hey guys I was wondering where can I buy a high performance or high output 350 sbc or 383. This motors going in a third gen car so its going to be carburated.

Any of the GM Vortec based crate motors will work in a 3rd gen.

Or go pick up the last issue of super Chevy they show you how to build a 405hp carb'd 350 for $1800.

Choose the last one if you want a base engine...there all pretty much the same engine so I would buy the cheapest and go from there.

350 HO deluxe complete air cleaner to pan $ 3889.80
350 HO base complete long block minus intake $2789.95
------this crate engine has a hydraulic flat tappet cam and iron vortec heads
and makes 330 hp and 380 ftlbs torque

ZZ4 base has intake and distributor $4099.95
------ this crate engine has aluminum L98 corvette and a hydraulic roller cam
and makes 355 hp and 418 ftlbs torque

HT383 with intake $4478.80
------ this crate engine comes with all covers and a intake hydraulic roller cam and has iron vortec heads and makes 340 hp and 435 ftlbs torque
