Camaro SS or TA WS6?
#21
I'm a firebird guy all the way. Same car just depends what you like- make your own decision- test drive them both, look at them from top to bottom, et.. I remember when I said I was gonna buy an f-body...I said it has to be a trans am. I didn't really want a ws6-(I'm not too keen on the hood). I wanted it bone stock and I wanted it either som, black, or white and that was it. I took my time (although it was hard) and I found my car at the right price.
But a few pointers for when you buy one of these cars:
have patience! you will find one in your color with your miles at the right price- just give it some time. That was my major problem.

Look at the comments people have made, then look at their signatures. Do you see a correlation between their comments and the vehicle they own? I do. One quote that comes to mind with a thread like this is "opinions are like a$$holes...everyone has one." Make sure you do your own research and make an informed decision based on your wants/needs, not someone elses opinions. There are resources out there that have factual information (ex. the forum FAQ's) that can help you do that.

The T/A seats are definitely nicer than the the Camaro but what it came down for me was this is the best deal on the color I want not T/A vs Z28......
I couldn't find it in a m6 for anywhere reasonable around here. They were wanting the same $$$ for a M6 90K car as mine with 49K. But I am happy with my A4 SOM T/A so.......WTF

I am definitely keeping the V6, there's no way I will ever part with that car.. It's given me hell sometimes, but I love it and could never let her go. If it burned in my driveway, it would sit there.... burnt. lol

I would have bought a Z28 or Trans Am just the same. Best condition for the $ is the most important issue.
And take your time. Eventually you will find exactly what you want. Otherwise you will get into something that's a compromise, and the EXACT right one will be listed next week.
The only styling beef I have is with the Z28. I know it's a minor thing, but it looks really goofy to me the way the front fenders slope into the door mirrors.
What ever you get, I promise you'll love an LS1.

For me I love the camaro always have and always will.
Don't get me wrong I have seen some T/A's I would love to own.
All in all it comes down to you and what you love. I was looking for a camaro hardcore and was about to settle them I said no I want what I want and the next week I found my baby.
