Default Got a 07 TBSS

Well not too long ago, I got a 07 TBSS RWD. Man, I'm glad to get back in one of these again. The 1st one I had before was an 06 TB 3SS. Unfortunately I wrecked it on my way to work in Jan 08. It was black and was AWD with all loaded options. So basically, I went from 3SS to 1SS which is fine. As long as it's an SS, all those options I could care less. My current one is the color maroon. I will post up pics later. It seems that RWD version is faster to me IMO. I live in the south so it's not like I need AWD. But I do need some mods for this beast.

The maroon ones are sharp, don't see them too much. One day I'll get a TBSS

Yea i had to get another one. It's great addition in my garage to the CETA. I was thinking of getting some mods like full exhaust, CAI, get it tuned, transcooler and some say i should get an e-fan. I wanted to stall it but I kind of heard I get tranny problems due to SS weight and more heat in the tranny. IDK yet. Still considering.

Nice, RWD I do believe is faster. Although I wish I would have gotten AWD because I am in Kodiak Alaska now. Get a built 4L70 and maggie that badboy

Nice buy, love my TBSS. You need to check out tbssowners.com best site out there for modded TBSS's. RWD will be a little quicker because there is less drivetrain eating up power. Trans is weak so get a cooler, servos and a good tune. A tune really wakes them up along with a CAI and Efans. That should keep ya happy for a while until you get a built trans then add 3600 stall. My buddy ran a 13.3 in his 06 AWD with just vector tune and CAI. Not bad for a nearly 5000lb brick!

RWD is hands down faster than the AWD.

Not even a contest.

Congrats on the buy. I also have a 07' Jewel Red TBSS. Mine is a AWD 3SS though. I agree BigRobSS also, TBSSowners.com has some great info.

It isn't even a contest, the TBSS in stock form is a high 13ish second truck. The Silverado SS is best what mid 14's. The TBSS doesn't need AWD to get off the line in a hurry. The 20's and 4.10s compliment each other well for tire spin.
