need some help with buying a 99 camaro!!!!!

Exclamation need some help with buying a 99 camaro!!!!!

i'm a truck guy and i have a head/cam lq9 awaiting to be swaped in my 05 gmc but i found a 99 v6 camaro for $2500 the body is mint on it so i
was thinking of buying it and to put the lq9 in it and have a fun car to drive
so my Q is what do i need to swap to a v8 is it worth it?
i don't wanna spend that much more then what i already have and
remeber that i live in puerto rico so this price is chep for this car any help would be sweet heres a pic of it

I think the 99's is before they put the good suspension in the v6 Camaros, so you would probably want to upgrade the suspension to that from the z28 or ss if that year model does indeed have the weaker suspension. Also did the v6 come with the 4l60e? If so, tranny should still be good, but also the v6 had a 2 piece drive shaft so you would want to get a solid one piece, and if you have to get a different drive shaft I wouldn't go with a stocker z28 drive shaft. Also the rear end, depending on your hp output of that engine should be in line for an upgrade unless you have the auto, in which case it should last a little while as long as your not totally pounding on it. These others guys probably know more about this then me but I own both the v6 and the v8 4th gen......so when in doubt, I just go outside and look at part numbers...lol

yea it's a auto i don't know if it has a 4l60 i see that theres a lot of used parts on here
maybe some body can make me a list of whats needed for this..

I'm almost certain its the 4l60e that's in the v6 as well, but I have read for some reason it will not work with the the v8....but that could be just for the ls1...... Need expert on that one.

I just read somewhere that the bell housings wont line up with the v6 4l60e and the v8 4l60e.....anyone confirm?
