Default Just bought a S.O.M Z28 with 13k miles

Just thought i would tell you guys that I just purchased a 2001 camaro z28 with 12,997 miles on it. Its a M6, hardtop car, with no power windows and it has already had torque thrust wheels put on it with 275/40/17. It has a few mods, slp lid and slp mass air sensor, also has flowmaster and an aftermarket shifter. I love the Sunset Orange Metalic.

Did you seriously get the car for $10,900?? That seems like an awesome deal to me.

Yeah, I got a good deal on it. My 02 had 33,000 miles on it with the 402 , and I now have a daily driver that's fun. I think I am gonna put some welds on it and then a pulley and just ride it around. Got a car cover with it, so I will store it this winter and keep the miles off of it.

Best color ever. It had to be a true stripper to have manual windows.

Before some of you jump off the closest bridge, that seems almost too inexpensive from a dealer unless there is something amiss. A private party, sometimes you get lucky with deals like this. Those mods put on the car would seem to indicate that the prior owner would have been driving the thing more than 1,500 miles per year. Any issues or a non-clear title?? If perfectly NEAR MINT condition and a clear title, then a BIG congratulations are in order.

That is a steal. Great work.

Not at all. I have a 1998 Z28 with TTII wheels, Bassani catback, SFCs, lid, STB.... and it has a mere 15,500 miles. That's about 1,400 miles per year. I use the car strictly for shows so it has to stay mint.

I understand what you're saying about the deal being almost too good to be true, but the dealer may have looked at the car's lack of options as a bad thing and priced it accordingly. If they don't specialize in cars like this, I can easily see why they'd look down at a hardtop, no power option, manual trans car.
