Nice build! Don't rule out Monster for your clutch needs (good prices, mega capacity, good manors, great customer service), or Tick for a MC. Is this thing going to be a strait line, auto x, or just a drive-the-crap-out-of-it car?

Yeah, mine's a drive-the-crap-out-of-it car too. I decided that I had been overlooking the important things for too long so I just purchased an S60 and a set of Koni 4/3 shocks. If you plan on driving it until the wheels fall off of it then you might as well make it strong enough to function as a work truck (since I end up hauling all my crap in it), and to keep it from sounding like its got a ladder rack full of aluminum ladders I decided to replace the shocks too.

HP is just way more fun to spend money on though

Have fun with your build. Maybe its not too late for me to start a build page... just back date it to 2005

I have a beater as a daily driver so even thought this build is going to be meant for daily driving.. i still wont litteraly drive the crap out of it haha. Espeacially when i put my own man hours into to it! Yeah, definitely I will do the best i can building this up but my money is tight!

Yeah, ive been looking at the specs, monsters etc.. I wanted a stock feel instead of the stiff feel. With my other motor i definitely will go with a stronger clutch!

nice! thanks for the input,i will consider when its time for an upgrade!

Does anyone know what step will be the best way to install the CME+valance... Should i mount the exhaust FIRST then install the valance or the other way around? and it will be color matched.

I would mount the valence first then get the tips in. Just seems more logical that way.

I have a 99 red SS and I think I might order that valence and have it molded to the bumper. It looks so much nicer that way IMO.

Cool man, looks like you know what you are doing, and if not your looking and doing your research. I'd say 440-460 should be no problem. Cars is going to run good and most people break the 10 bolt before they sway to a better axle, just keep in mind the 3.42 10 bolt is worth som $$$ to an auto guy.

Good luck on the build and keep the pics coming.
