Default Royal Purple Oil Filters!

Did anyone else see the new RP oil filters on Horsepower TV this weekend? They were compared to a Wix and flowed much better but caught all debree particles and could withstand a LOT more PSI. Called Summit they said they were going to carry them, but then got an e-mail saying they werent....
And Jegs didnt even k now they were out yet....anyone know where to get one?

Yeah I would not trust their filters either.. Don't belive everything as people are paid to advertise their "better" products...

If their filters are as good as their oil, I'd sooner run a Fram filter. And I will NEVER run a Fram filter.

They hold more PSI than any other filter. Flow more and at the same time picked up 99.99% of the dirt particles that they dropped into the oil.

So? Some people run Coastal brand oil with cheap Fram filters and some have no problems.

oh lord not this argument again. Look, any oil and oil filter you use, someone is going to tell you that it gums up your engine or doesnt last long or is a cheap peice of ****. Everyone argues that they don't do the same thing but when it all comes down to it, yea it does. People say don't use castrol or penzoil motor oil because it gums up your motor because it has some sort of wax in it but theres people out there that have used that oil for every change and never had a single problem. Most of it is nothing but blah blah blah my oil is better because it costs more

That was true for older Pennzoil (and there was another brand, forget which) but Platinum is fine.

Xtreme, not all oils are the same. Yes, there will be people disliking any oil, but there IS objective data on many oils that can be found at places like BITOG. People like me come in oil threads and trash certain brands and recommend GC and Amsoil and other stuff because there's actual data supporting these things.

Please elaborate...I'm interested in this. I always hear people say how the store brands are "just as good as the name brands", and how its all just relabeled brand name oil. I never believed that, because from what I've seen from Supertech and Advance brand, it is complete garbage.

RP oil filter are going for $14-$15, and only pep boys sales them. BTW they are made by the same people that makes mobile 1 and K&N oil filters. Same you money and just get a mobile 1 or K&N oil filter
