Again, this may not be the case with f-bodies as it is Mustangs. So don't take MY word for it. While gears don't ADD any HP, they make better use of it, and therefore make you faster. I wouldn't however try to install them yourself if you've never done it.

I'll also add a decent short throw shifter from a rep brand name is also a great/cheap/do-it-yourself investment.

Not only does it feel better, and stop you from mis-shifting, you will shift faster = faster over all.

A good STS will benefit even a daily driver non-racer.
The 4.10's in an f-body by far dont top out there. When my buddy put them in his 430rwhp 02 ss we hit about 150 and had more to go. But they definitely make a difference!

Talking

cam and heads. blows dick driving till you hit about 3500rpm and it feels like you just spooled a monster turbo because the engines build s so much power between 3500 to redline. very enjoyable especially if your an ******* like me who likes to drive in the powerband(weekend/strip car)

Clutch/hydraulics-Tick Master, new slave and Tex. The stock clutch pedal is way too soft, I love the way the car drives now.

Suspension-Hotchkis springs and Koni shocks. Stock suspension sucks and looks awful. Car handles great and looks awesome.
