Well looks like I may have started a LSx trend

Any venders want to jump on this idea??? And remember I came up with it ( at least for the LSx ) so I should get mine for FREE

are there any clearance issues with the taller aftermarket VC's. The ones on fleabay really look nice.

I went to taller VC's on my olds and had to change out the brake booster to a smaller dia one, went with a 7" dual booster. In those pics you can see he is running an after market master, looks like a CPP one possibly, and I would guess either a smaller vac booster or maybe he is running a elec booster on the car.

You might be able to coat the inside with teflon spray or something of the equivalent to help out.. but that clean.... i think you right.. lol

I have seen these before but only for the old school small block chevy's. I saw about 3 cars at the good guys hot rod national's at texas motor speedway. One of the guys had it fired up and had the oil splashing on it but after he turned it off for a while you could see the oil coming off of it and draining back in to the crank case. Very cool in my opinion.

interesting.....maybe take a set of valve covers, cut out top sections and insert some sort of glass/plexi glass in there...it wont be 100% clear, but it could work out...

I wouldnt do it to my car tho.....

if you look closely at the valve cover it looks to be a 2 piece i think if you take the 8 top bolts out the clear cover comes off, its a GM 4 bolt cover you can see the 2 top allen head bolts

i think its all rather cool as well, but dont you have to worry about glazing on the clear plastic at some point? not to mention the parts getting dirty from normal use?

I really like the intake idea personally. I'm sure that dirt and oil etc. would be a problem over time. but that's the price ya pay for having certain parts lol some take more maintenance than others.

Those would be good to have if you're running a set of Yella Terra rockers!

I'd imagine most likely these would be on a show car that rarely gets used. They are definitely pretty cool though.
