high 14s in the city. Havent been on a road trip since the H/C swap and dont plan on it, this car is a bitch with all the rod end suspension. Especially since I just got out of a brand new maxima rental, awesome car btw!

MS4 on 111
799 heads
stock bottem end
12 bolt out back with 3.42s
stock trans
Mac mids
Off road y and Borla CB
Lowered, lighted the front with tub k member and all tubular and rod end suspension out back

I think thats it! I usually get 215 miles when the check guages light comes on which is 14.5 gallons in mine. 93+ ocatane only too

Gears will NOT make a difference when you are driving in town only. I'm not really sure why more than a couple guys think so...

Good to see a few modded cars like mine showing similar in town mpg.

4.10's will probably actually improve city mileage since you will get into OD earlier and tighten the stall somewhat.

I used to get 12-15 depending on how I drove. Now I run around most of the time with a track only tune and get around 8-10

That's running an old tune that has no DFCO and never went leaner than 13.0. And my heavy foot doesn't help any.

mods in sig.. anywhere from 15-18 city, 25mixed, 28 hwy only. My commute is 4 miles to work in city, then 5 miles to school 90% city with 1 mile of highway with 2 traffic lights on that mile stretch. 15 if I get on it everytime I feel like it (at least twice each way), and 18 if I'm a good boy and only get on it once and not fully lol. the 28mpg is cruising at 70-80mph I could get better if I could make myself stay closer to 70... *shrug*

sad part is my gf's cobalt gets the same hwy mileage

I seem to get 14 most of the time when I dont get on it. I almost never drive on the highway so I dont even know what it gets as far as that goes. I was about to post this same thread last week and then forgot all about it. I was curious as to what other modded cars like mine get for mileage in town.

Kinda sucks there are only a couple guys with H/C that posted up.

Got my car out of the body shop last week and of the last 2 fill ups it is actually closer to averaging 13.5 MPG.

I put the H/C on at the end of October, drove for 2-3 weeks with tuning issues, break in, etc, taking it easy on the car.

THEN I got into a 1 car wreck and its been in the body shop ever since.

Seems like the 13.5 seems to be a more realistic average.

Also, no WOT runs either, this is all just cruising considering my trans locks me out ofter 2 gear pulls, so I would imagine much less once I get a new clutch/hydraulics

I get 18-22. I guess having a smaller engine comes in handy in this case.

Eh... A stock/bolt on car will get that. Most of the people you see getting 15mpg and below are cam only or H/C. This thread is asking for a response from people with modded cars.

That being said, I just calculated my MPG, and I got 15mpg city only. I have an MS3 cam, and bolt ons. Stop lights kill MPG for cammed cars.

My old setup...

ms4
prcls6 stg 1
ported 90/90
410s w/ 26" tire
4400 converter
LTs dumped
etc etc...

Got around 11 in city and around 15 on highway.. it was not MPG friendly, neither was my foot either though.

15 is about it. I only drive on the freeway once a week for 10 miles too.
