Default Was the Camaro's and firebird's Stock power ratings under rated?

Were the '93-'97 Lt1 Firebird and Camaro's under rated for horsepower at all? what do they make for RWHP and torque stock?

What about the 98-'02 LS1 car's?

'98-'02 LS1s all make about 340-350hp at the crank, stock. So yes, they were under rated. RWHP numbers vary depending on trans type, M6s cars will always dyno higher.

This is the LSx section, not LTx.

LS1 horsepower facts should just be a sticky in each section of the forum. Or, before you can register for the site, when you have to read the rules, agreements and whatnot, somewhere in all of that you should have to check a box that says that you understand that an LS1 is an LS1 is an LS1 is an LS1. I'm totally serious about this....

I think so. my basically bone stock A4 95 T/A put down 245 RWHP and 283 RWTQ. based on 20% for an A4 thats 306HP and 353 TQ

I only had a K&N drop in filter, and new MSD wires and NGK plugs and an MSD cap and rotor. I still had the full stock intake w/ air silencer donkey dick and everything.

The F-bodies put out the same power as the 300 horse LT1 'Vettes, but like with the LS1, were underrated. If you strap either or to a dyno, you'll find similar numbers to the rear wheels.
