Hi, all. I'm looking at a '01 T/A. I'm new to these cars so I need a bit of guidance.
Carfax shows the latest mileage at 41k, but previous records indicate otherwise so I'm wary of its accuracy.
It was first recorded at 6 miles, then 10, then 17k...bam, 102k two months after recording 17k. WTF? Then it recorded 115k a year later. Nothing till 41k when it was recorded at the current dealership the car is for sale at.
I'm not sure to make of this.![Icon Confused](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_confused.gif)
TIA for any advice.

sounds super fishy to me. it may be possible to roll back miles if you change the computer(pcm) i would take it to a pcm specialist (pcmforless is a sponser) great for u that u checked carfax but if it doesnt seem right it most often times isnt. get the car u know is legit especially if you are dumping a lot of money in as a DD. remember good things are worth the wait and Trans ams/camaros are a dime a dozen. patience is the key here
