Do you mean the RPO or the paint mixing code?

The RPO is 96U. I don't have the exact mix code though.

I gotta get some touch up paint for my car its Red in color I hit it with a shovel when I was shoveling snow..

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were asking about the ROM paint code.

What shade of red is your car? Bright red? Or dark?

There were only 2 shades of red for the '02 F-bodies, the bright red is 81U, and the dark red is 44U. So check the RPO's for one of those two, it should match.

IIRC, ROM was also available in 97, so you'll see earlier body style cars with it. It's a nice color, but I prefer SOM. SOM has a little bit more of the "burnt" orange tone to it ... a little more depth, a little more interesting, IMO.

I still have my Monterey Maroon Camaro I posted early in the thread, and it still needs to be re-painted!! And now a new transmission!! funny to see this thread after all this time come back.
