ugh oh someone call the Mythbuster they tried that myth of spliting a car in two and they called it busted....guess this guy proved that wrong! you'd think that car was made of carboard!

So my friend crashed his 2002 Formula into a metal street pole going 55mph and the damage wasn't half that bad.

Either he was going way above 60mph or the new Camaro is built out of playing cards.

Lie. Its not split in 2. Its split in 1 and 3/4's. Not saying GM engineered it to split like that (though they may of), but its a show of how we have developed in automotive technology. Years ago, I imagine the driver would be dead due to the forces applied to him. Today, the car splits, allowing momentuem to travel elsewear, aways from the driver. Neat.

This is true same idea in a ferrari wreck. Evereything else is thrown away from the car and the driver is left in a little shell.
