Default Need car shipped.. Suggestions?

I'm looking to get a car shipped from Indianapolis, IN to the San Antonio, TX area and would like to find a quality transportation service to have this done.. Someone I can trust won't screw the car up getting it down here. I was hoping someone on here had dealt with a company and had some feedback, good or bad, so I know which ones to look into and which ones to stay away from..

Thanks for the help guys..

I just used United Road (http://www.vehicletransportusa.com/) with no problems. To be honest I think all the big name shippers you see end up putting your order out do independent shippers willing to transport the car at their price. Its not like United Road or any of the others have their own trucks and drivers. Everything is bidded out I believe.

That being said I don't think it matters who you use out of the big name shippers. Just go with the best price of one of the reputable companies.

Ask a retired car guy. My former 6th grade teacher went and picked up my car. All I had to pay for was his plane ticket.

FedX is what I was gonna use when I almost bought a vette in DC and had it shipped to Minnesota. They use covered trailers and had a fair price. I would check them out.

Thanks for the recomendation Jessie.

If you would like a quote on getting a car shipped give me a call. I have a 2 car enclosed trailer. When I pick up a car I like to have it delivered within 1-2 days of pickup. I treat every car that is on that trailer like my own. I use only straps and not chains so I don't damage anything on the vehicle. It's also not a bad ideal to get someone who has F-body experience such as myself.

As someone stated earlier, most of the larger companies put your car on a load board and smaller carriers such as myself are hired to transport the car. So you never know who or what your going to get.
