zo6 problem has 1200 horsepower to the flywheel I was in 3rd gear wideopen going 4500 rpms and let go of the gas and the engine shutoff the car wont start anymore just cranks any help i have check fuel pressure, spark, vacumm lines anything with the motor and fuel and oil is fine any help plz

Yank a valve cover and turn it over to make sure the rockers are moving, chain...

 

I could have alot of fun with that! Sounds like a bad *** ride!

 

Am I the only one who thinks this guy is full of BS? He can't type and yet he drives a 1200 HP car? Generally those who can afford a car like that have at least attended grade school and can form a sentence correctly and spell.

 

I don't see what reason he has to lie, epecially with a technical question such as this.

Anyhow, as the other guys suggested, I'd start by checking to see if the timing chain broke. Pull a valve cover, turn the motor over by hand with a 1/2" drive ratchet and socket on the crank pulley bolt, and watch to see of the valvetrain is functioning properly.

If you've checked and you have good spark and fuel pressure, its probably timing related.

 

Yea I was thinking that.

People with 1200hp Z06's either built it themselves and know what they are doing...OR...they had a shop do it and if there was a problem (such as not starting) would bring it back to the shop to get it fixed.

 

And you posted this pretty much exact thread over in Internal Engine.

So this one is getting the lock.
