Default Fluid Capacities

Does anyone have any idea how much fluid is in the following:

M6 Trans
Rear end (including the LSD additive)
Radiator
Clutch Hydraulic System
Power Steering Fluid

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I dont have the owners manual on me as I'm sure it may be in there.

Thanks in advance.

Considering his vehicle is an LS1 F-Body, your two links are lacking. But God, Jesus, and your Mother still love you...........

M6 Trans-4 qrts Dex III
Rear end (including the LSD additive)-2 qrts Gear Oil
Radiator- you mean the complete cooling system? If so between 3.5-4 Gallons.
Clutch Hydraulic System- Till it's full, DOT 3 or DOT 5 Brake Fluid.
Power Steering Fluid- Till it's full..grab a Quart

That should help..

What is the reason you are looking for the specific qantities and part numbers?

Most of us just fill them up till they are full using the proper Fluids.

Like he said earlier, he doesn't want to buy more than it needs.

Personally, I think it's nice to have a little extra of all that juice in stock. It eventually all gets used.

Just remember brake fluid will attract water and not work properly. Just make sure the container is tight when you store it.

And what part of the following did you not comprehend from the first link?

Written for an LT1 but you can take whats applicable and apply it toward your LS1
